Pot with Faces & Flowers :: Black Mountain clay, Large

75.00

I love this pot! It’s large and rather heavy, but the images remind me so much of Gauguin, which was unintentional, but I love it! The Matt White glaze against the Black Mountain clay body is striking. With just a touch of color from underglazes, it’s a one-of-a-kind pot! Hand built and hand painted, using the wax relief method. These figures are my own creations, they inhabit my pots, paintings, and prints. The underside is signed and has 4 painted faces with red cheeks.

  • One-of-a-kind piece of ceramic art

  • Weight 6 lbs, 5 oz.

  • 9 x 7.5” (27” circumference)

  • Indoor use recommended

  • Please do not put in dishwasher/microwave

Perfect when paired with an orchid or indoor potted plant. This pot should last a lifetime, if treated well.
